I made a few purchases near the end of February and a little into March, I'll use my birthday as a valid excuse, not that I need one but mentally it kinda makes me feel better.

Honestly I wasn't crazy in love with the Coloured Raine Cheers to the Beauty palette, I do really like their shadow formula though, and always enjoy when I use my Queen of Hearts palette. So when the Cheers to the Beauty palette went on sale, I thought that it was the perfect time to pick it up. Not wanting to get dinged with customs again, I sent it to my aunts house.

Curating For Melanin | Hourglass

For the past three years, Hourglass as released a holiday palette that combines some of their best selling ambient face powders, blushes, bronzers and highlighters. And for the past three years I’ve passed on each palette because the shade selection wasn’t suitable for my deeper skin tone. I would love to purchase one, but for the price it doesn’t make sense. I’m not paying that much money for minimal product that doesn’t even show up on my skin or looks ashy and doesn’t compliment it in any way. No ma’am, not doing it.
