You Should Know | Shop Miss A - Empty Magnetic Palette

This might be the beginning of a new series here on my blog or maybe it’ll be a one off. Either way the idea behind is it simply. I talk about something I think you should know. The first item or product that I want to discuss comes from the online store Shop Miss A, I’d head bits and pieces about this shop but I never really paid it any mind. It just wasn’t something I was interested in. That is until one day back in May when I was watching a video by Le Pocket Change.

Skin Care Sunday | Guerisson Brand Review

This review is long overdue. Guerisson is one of my favourite Asian/Korean skin care brands. The products aren't overly fussy or difficult to use, their simple and effective. The only thing that probably turns people away is the use of horse oil.

Recently, as in the last few months I've really got into doing my face makeup. My routine before pretty much just consisted of 2 concealers layered and then some setting powder, I've bulked it up a bit. I'm adding layers on layers and I kinda love it.

Skin Care Routine Update

I've been playing cool the last couple of months with my skin care routine. Sometimes just doing the bare minimum. I try to maintain my skin but there are times when the idea of a multi-step routine is just tiresome. For the nights when I feel like that, I will just add a moisturizer and completely skip on toner and serums.

I’m a hypocrite guys, I wrote the post about how I wasn’t going to buy anything during the Black Friday sales because it wasn’t financially responsible, then Sephora came out with their Daily Wow’s and my conviction crumbled liked dust. After seeing the list of what they were putting on sale each day, there were a few eyeshadow palettes that caught my eye, because I need more eyeshadow palettes right?

Perfume Review | Jo Malone London Lime Basil & Mandarin Cologne

This is my first Jo Malone perfume, I was expecting it to be strong and overpowering. However I didn’t find it to be that way at all. I was pleasantly surprised. Jo Malone has a reputation of producing quality fragranced products whether it be their perfumes or their candles.

Melanin and Swatch | Coloured Rain Vivid Pigments

When I first saw the promo picks for these shadows I knew that I wanted them. When I saw the pre-launch price I knew that I was definitely picking it up. Did I need 16 vibrant matte shadows, of course I did. Them being from Coloured Raine just sealed the deal, I have the Queen of Hearts and Cheers to You palette and I like their shadow formula both for the mattes and the shimmers.

Black Friday | To Buy or Not To Buy

I had big plans for this Black Friday, a lot of indie brands put on some good sales and my intent was to pick up a few items from a few that I’ve had my eyes on. However I’ve had to amend my plans, there will be no black Friday purchases this year. Mainly due to finances, I can’t responsibly afford to make any purchases, and since having debt is not my idea of a good thing, I’ve decided to be a responsible adult and not spend money I don’t have.
