When I first saw the promo picks for these shadows I knew that I wanted them. When I saw the pre-launch price I knew that I was definitely picking it up. Did I need 16 vibrant matte shadows, of course I did. Them being from Coloured Raine just sealed the deal, I have the Queen of Hearts and Cheers to You palette and I like their shadow formula both for the mattes and the shimmers.
Read MoreI’ve had this palette for a while and haven’t played with it nearly enough. It reads to me as a neutral palette with pops of purple and deeper burgundy tones. Which isn’t generally what you see in a neutral palette with accent colours. So the shades in themselves are a bit different to the standard selections you typically find in palettes of this nature.

I’ve been able to use it a few times and I like it, you do have to use something for the more glitter filled shades, otherwise you will end up with it all over your face.

Before duo-chrome eyeshadows were main stream indie brands were doing it and doing it well. There are far more than 3 good duo-chrome shades, but these are the shades that I reach for consistently. This wasn’t planned but these shades are also perfect for creating fall inspired makeup looks.
