Holiday Love

Now I’m not the best at getting gifts for people, sometimes I might be right on the money and other times the gifts sit collecting dust in a corner. I prefer getting them things that I know they want, lets say there in need of some new headphones, I can purchase their favourite brand, easy peasy. These are just some items I’ve come across that might make a good gift for someone, like yourself. Who knows maybe I’ll buy one or two of these myself.

Anyhow happy shopping.

Maple Leaf Reading Socks with Faux-Sherpa Lining - Grey ($24.50 CDN on sale) These socks look so comfy and cozy. Although they say reading socks, I would wear these all the time. The temperature is dropping and having something to keep your feet warm  is quickly becoming a necessity

Red Blush Rooibos $7.00 USD (appears to be on sale, regular price is 8.75) Drinking tea is something I do on the daily. I tend to favour herbal teas but I do love Rooibos and vanilla when done right in a tea is awesome. This is one of those ones I might just pick up for myself. :) There are some great sounding blends on the site. The blends come in 50g pouches which the site says can make 20-25 cups of tea.

My Burberry Festive ($135 CDN) I am not a perfume wearer but this bottle just looks gorgeous. Yup I choose it just because of the packaging, can you wrong me though. If you are a perfumer lover or knows someone who is this might just be the luxury item you’re looking for to round out your gifts. It’s pretty expensive but it is 3 oz which is almost double the standard eau de toilette size.

Illi Total Aging care body set- Body scrub and Body lotion ($61 CDN)This is a pretty pricey body set but I’ve heard great things about this Korean brand. The body scrub is 400 ML and the Body lotion is 350 ML.They have quite a range of products from sheet masks and cleansers to body care, the generally consensus is that they leave your skin feeling great. Can you get this same feeling with much cheaper products, of course you can.

Planner Society Kit (33.50 USD to Canada) If you love paper crafts or are just a planner nerd then you may really enjoy this kit. Every month Christy and her team create special items that you can use to decorate your planner. You get card stock, planner stickers, cute paper clips and an assortment of other things. The mix of things changes in each kit from month to month. I have a subscription to both this kit and the Sticker society kit (for $11.50 USD you get 4 sheets of stickers plus a small freebie, you don’t have to sign up for both kits).

7mm Thin Washi Tape Set of 10 Chugoku ($10 USD)I have to admit I do love washi tape. They can be used decoratively in your planner, in note books and even in room decor- which is actually where they originated from. With this bundle of 10 you get some great colours, the rolls maybe skinny but you have 10 meters on each roll. That’s a lot of washi.

The Curve travel mug ($30 CDN)If you’re a tea drinker or coffee drinker then a travel mug that closes and doesn’t leak is a must. The bonus for this mug is that it includes a little basket you can use to steep loose tea or maybe put some lemon’s in for warm lemon tea. I have a travel much and it’s a staple for me especially as it gets colder. I never leave home with out it, no seriously I don’t.

The Original Organizer Patent in nude leather  A5($110 USD)  / January  2016 Flagship Edition: black stripe ($59 USD) If you interested in becoming a planner girl or boy, do be warned that ones you go down the rabbit hole you may not be able to step back. You can choose from a bound planner- the Day Designer or a ring planner -the Filofax. Depending on what your needs are one might work better than the other.

AromaArt Ultrasonic Nebulizer ($85 CDN) I asked my friend for suggestions for gift ideas to add to this list, she suggested a diffuser, though I shouldn’t have been surprised. She’s had her eye on getting one for the past couple months. After reading some reviewing and digging just a bit deeper I find that now i want one. This one here is a nebulizer or a fancy word for diffuser, it also is a humidifier and air purifier, which is awesome. Definitely on my want list, a little steep but it can run for around 12 hours on high, which is far more than any of the other ones I’ve looked at.

Moleskine Volant Notebooks, Ruled, Large - Royal Blue ($17) / Foxy Dori (price depends on size) If you tend to be one of those people that carries around multiple notebooks, then a faux dori may be just the thing for you. Faux Dori’s are derived from Midori’s or Traveler’s Notebooks. They come in  a range of sizes that holds booklets from pocket size to 5x8, with varied colours and charms. You are able to customize them to your liking. Depending on the width you choose you can hold a minimum of 4 notebooks in each dori unto maybe 7 or 8 depending on how much you really want to squeeze in.

You may have noticed that there are no colouring books on my list, while I like the idea of them so far there isn’t one I’ve found that I love and would actually keep on using. However if you’re interested in them many bookstores now carry some as well as Amazon.
