Mizon AHA 8% Serum

Mizon 8% AHA Serum

Mizon 8% AHA Serum

I had this serum for over a year and was ready to stop using it and had no interest in repurchasing it then I realized through asian beauty reddit that I was using it wrong. Before I would apply it, then layer it quickly with another serum on top, no wait times or anything. The first time I used it properly (it’s a chemical exfoliant, which means that it’s PH dependent so you either have to wait 15-30 minutes after you cleanse your skin or use a PH adjusting toner), I waited 30 minutes, applied it, waited another 30 minutes (to give it time to work) and then proceeded with the rest of my routine. In the morning the pores on my cheeks around my nose - which was my trouble spot had pretty much disappeared. I was shocked and completely hooked on this product. I already have a back up, so no need to repurchase.

Innisfree No Minimums Serum

This is a simple uncomplicated serum, the texture is light, colour is clear and there is no fragrance. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized but not excessively. It’s a no fuss serum.  I like to use this serum as a carrier, I combine my LJH Propolis serum with the No minimum serum because it doesn’t irritate my skin that way, which reminds me it’s also great at soothing your skin when it’s irritated and you’ve got pimples popping up in random places on your face. I plan on repurchasing this, just waiting for Bae (Jolse) to have a good sale on it.

Innisfree Jeju Bija Cleanser

When you pump it into your hand it looks and feels like a thick oil (don’t worry it’s not), you apply it to dry skin, gently massaging your face and then rinse repeatedly. It doesn’t foam, at all. I like to use this in the morning to cleanse my face, it’s gentle and nice and  I haven’t had any type of reaction from using it. This will also be repurchased from Bae.

Pure Heals Propolis

Pure heals propolis ampoule

Absorbs into your skin quickly, doesn’t leave a residue. Calming and gentle. I’m not sure if it did a lot for my skin, I know that when people have raved about it they said that it gave them a nice glow, I didn’t see it. Again not a bad product real nice for those times that you are breaking out or have a reaction to a product. If you needed a first aid skincare kit, I would definitely suggest this, just because it’s calming and doesn’t cause a reaction (for me it didn’t, if you have sensitivity to honey  then it’s likely that it may irritate you.) For now I’m not planning on repurchasing. I have 3 LJH propolis ampoules I need to work through

Pure Smiles Snail lip Treatment

This stuff right here is amazing. There is a slight tingling sensations when you first apply it that fades after a while, I haven’t paid attention to how long it lasts as it doesn’t bother me, It’s pretty mild. It has a thick consistency, so there’s a little tug when your spreading it on your lips. As a moisturizer though it’s fabulous, I use it as an all the time lip balm as opposed to a lip treatment which might be occasional. My lips tend to get dry easily and this really helps them stay soft and smooth. It does leave a residue, it doesn’t wipe off clean from your lips. I’d like to repurchase but BonjourHK is out of stock right now, and everywhere else charges an arm and a leg. I shoulda grabbed it earlier when I had the chance.

It pains me to add this cleanser to my list, I was caught completely by surprise on this one. The little bit left in the tube fell to the bathroom room as I was inspecting it, tear. I don’t even have a back up on order. This cleanser leaves my face feeling soft and smooth, never tight or dry, it works as a first cleanse and a second cleanse and can remove mascara and eye liner with ease. You can read more about this on Snow White and the Pear’s blog as well as Skin and Tonic. I read both of their reviews before making my own purchase.
