I think that a nude polish shade is essential. They are able to suit many different occasions, you can dress up or dress down a nude. So whether you’re heading to a work party or a get together with friends, you’re good to go with a nude. There’s no worry about it clashing with a dress or an accessory.
By there simple nature a nude polish is meant to be flexible. Because there are so many different skin tones and shades every ones version of nude will vary. I tend to favour more mid-tone shades that are lighter than my own skin tone. I prefer some contrast between my nails and my skin.
The beauty of nude polishes is that you can also have a range of undertones in variations of beige, pink, or brown. The 5 polishes that I’ve chosen range from a soft creamy off white with slight pink undertones to a light mauve tinged brown.
I saw a website set up their colour descriptions this way, it gives a quick overview of the main facts regarding the polish, I liked it and thought I would adopt it.
