7 Fall Essentials

Fall is upon us, I'm certain that by now you have rotated your spring/summer clothes and pulled out the thick sweaters and cardigans. I find that as much as my outfits my change day to day they still have the same components. The 7 items below, are my ride or die items, the absolute must haves for me from this list is my travel mug and my sunglasses. No matter the conditions, these two are always  in my bag. 

Dark Denim

Dark Denim is an essential for me year round. I wear it pretty much on a daily basis. I love dark blue washes, one because they can be dressed up or down and two because you can wear it on repeat and not have people know. 

My travel Mug

This right here is my absolute must have for fall. It keeps my tea or hot water hot, piping hot for hours. I don’t drink coffee but I need a warm beverage in the morning or else my stomach is very upset with me and has no trouble letting me know it. It comes with a strainer that can be removed though I never do, so if you have loose leaf tea or items you want to use to make tea like ginger and cinnamon sticks, it will keep it from clogging the mouth of the cup. It’s also really nice to not have little bits of tea leaf in your mouth.

Combat Boots

The mornings are cold and it can and does rain at what feels like random times. To keep my feet warm and dry I like combat boots. They also look really nice on and are great if you want to trek through the woods on a fall walk.

Sunglasses

These are another year round essential for me, though the sun rises later and set’s earlier I still get the mid-afternoon sun and I prefer to not have to squint while I’m out and about. There also a great accessory to add detail to an outfit.

Hoodie

As you’ve seen in my On Repeat post, I do love my hoodies. And since it has gotten much cooler in the morning and sometime even the afternoon having a hoodie has become completely necessary. It protects from the wind, rain and insulates to keep my warm.

Satchel bag

I love this bag, it’s great to keep my essentials in, key’s, notebook, wallet etc. I can’t fit too much after that which is actually great since I tend to cramp a ton of stuff into my bags. This keeps things pared down to the minimum though I do carry a tote with my lunch and travel mug.

Moto Jacket

My burgundy moto jacket, I feel instantly put together when I wear this jacket, it just elevates a plain outfit taking it from I just threw this on to I’m styled and fabulous, okay maybe the change isn’t that drastic but trust it makes a difference.
